EAGLE FORD SHALE (South Texas)

South Texas' Eagle Ford Shale is one of the richest shale plays in North America. However, the lack of abundant water resources has created a significant challenge for operators in the region. Aqua-Pure's wastewater recycling technology will be central to the Eagle Ford's continued development.

In June 2011, Aqua-Pure announced its entry into the Eagle Ford through a subcontracting agreement with NAC Services, LLC, an affiliate of Noise Attenuation Construction Services. Aqua-Pure has installed two Nomad units at NAC’s water purification treatment center in Kenedy, Texas. The Company is employing approximately 15 workers at the new facility, which has the capacity to recycle roughly 5,000 barrels of flowback and produced water per day.

In addition to recycling wastewater into distilled or treated water for re-use in hydraulic fracturing operations, Aqua-Pure and NAC will sell the concentrated brine and other byproducts of the recycling process.
