Aqua-Pure is the premier recycler of industrial wastewater in North America.
CLASS I – VI TECHNOLOGY PORTFOLIO
Aqua-Pure offers the only treatment process that can be tailored to the specifications of each individual customer. Some operators choose to receive treated saltwater that can be diluted with fresh water for fraccing adjacent wells. Others require fresh water for fraccing. And still others prefer that pure distilled water be returned to the environment.
The following options can be provided in mobile, modular packages for temporary applications or modular fixed facilities for semi-permanent, high capacity installations.
Class I - TSS Removal
Primary clarification to remove TSS and TOC.
Capacity: 7,500+ bbl/day
Outlet Specifications:
TDS: per inlet
TSS: < 75 mg/L
TOC: 20 to 80% removal (varies with nature of organics)
Oil and Grease: < 10 mg/L
Max Particle Size: < 100 micron nominal
Class II – Low Polish
Primary clarification step followed by a polishing filter removing residual suspended solids to 50, 25, 10, or 5 micron nominal.
Capacity: 7,500+ bbl/day
Outlet Specifications:
TDS: per inlet
TSS: < 25 mg/L
TOC: 20 to 80% removal (varies with nature of organics)
Oil and Grease: < 5 mg/L
Max Particle Size: 50, 25, 10, 5 micron nomical (as required)
Class III – High Polish
Primary clarification step followed by a polishing membrane removing residual suspended solids and organics to less than 1 micron absolute.
Capacity: 7,500+ bbl/day and up
Outlet Specifications:
TSS: < 5 mg/L
TOC: < 5 mg/L
Oil and Grease: < 1 mg/L
Max Particle Size: < 1 micron absolute
Class IV – High Polish with Selective Ion Removal
Sub-micron polishing with softening, selective precipitation or ion exchange to remove desired divalent ions as required (Ca, Sr, Ba, SO4 etc).
Capacity: 7,500+ bbl/day and up
Outlet Specifications:
TSS: < 5 mg/L
TOC: < 5 mg/L
Oil and Grease: < 1 mg/L
Max Particle Size: < 1 micron absolute
Divalent Ion Removal (Ca, Mg, Sr, Ba, CO3, SO4 etc): As required
MVR Evaporator for the production of distilled water and brine concentrate. The MVR evaporator is usually preceded by a Class I through IV pre-treatment system to minimize fouling and maximize recovery. The type of pre-treatment required is a function of the inlet water quality.
Capacity - 2000+ bbl/day
Outlet Specifications:
TDS: < 150 mg/L typical (ultrapure options available)
TSS: < 5 mg/L
TOC: < 5 mg/L
Oil and Grease: < 5 mg/L
Max Particle Size: < 1 micron absolute
Class VI - Zero Liquid Discharge
Aqua-Pure can partner with other technology providers to offer custom low to zero liquid discharge solutions. This can involve the use of a crystallizer to generate salt product from the concentrated brine from the evaporator, a direct fired or waste heat evaporator to further reduce the volume of concentrated brine, or electro dialysis to generate commodity chemical from concentrated brine. The ZLD system is usually preceded by a Class I through IV pre-treatment system to minimize fouling, maximize recovery, and ensure solid products meet necessary specifications. The type of pre-treatment required is a function of the inlet water quality.
We make environmentally sustainable solutions cost-effective; because water is too precious to waste.
