MOBILE PRIMARY TREATMENT

Oilfield wastewater recycling is extremely complex and involves many significant challenges, including –

• Sources of oilfield wastewater often do not exist long enough to justify a fixed facility;
• The cost of transporting wastewater from the source to a fixed facility can make recycling uneconomical;
• High chloride levels require specialized metallurgy to prevent corrosion;
• Species such as carbonates, sulfates, and silica (CO3, SO4, SiO2) can cause severe scaling;
• Common oilfield chemical additives can foul filters, heat exchangers, membranes and other equipment;
• Oil and high levels of suspended solids can foul and plug equipment; and,
• Processing hard-to-treat wastewater can be very expensive.

Aqua-Pure’s NOMAD evaporator is a revolutionary development in MVR evaporation. Our patented design has resulted in a high-capacity mobile system capable of processing virtually any hard-to-treat industrial wastewater.

Each system consists of three easy-to-transport modules which occupy a small footprint in the field. The NOMAD is equipped with a natural gas generator and can even be monitored and operated remotely.

Aqua-Pure’s recycling facilities are strategically located in areas of high drilling density to minimize or eliminate the transportation costs associated with hauling flowback and/or produced water to disposal.
