Kirk Trosclair

Chief Executive Officer

Kirk Trosclair brings more than 21 years of diversified energy experience to Fountain Quail. His background includes drilling and exploration, engineering design, oilfield fluid terminal operations, logistics management, construction, and business development. Prior to serving the company as Executive Vice President and COO, Mr. Trosclair served as Director of Terminal Operations for GreenHunter Resources, Inc. Mr. Trosclair received his B.A. and A.S. in Petroleum Engineering Technology from Nicholls State University.

Robert Sloan

Chief Operating Officer

Robert Sloan provided operations, development and acquisition-related consulting to GreenHunter Resources, Inc., from June 2011 through mid-May 2016. He brings more than 15 years of operations and finance expertise with high growth companies in the oil and gas industry, serving as COO and CTO, facilitating acquisitions, divestitures and corporate development. Mr. Sloan graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Business Management.

Brent Halldorson

Chief Technology Officer

Brent Halldorson (P. Eng.) has been with Fountain Quail (formerly Aqua Pure) since 1999. He is well known and highly regarded among oil and gas regulators across the U.S. and Canada. He has helped bring consistency and high standards to the oilfield water management industry and is a founding member and chairman of the Texas Water Recycling Association.

Prior to joining Fountain Quail/Aqua Pure, Mr. Halldorson worked as a project engineer with Colt Engineering in Calgary. In this role he became familiar with Fountain Quail/Aqua Pure and helped the company develop its initial evaporator technology for patent.

Mr. Halldorson holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary.

Aaron Horn

Executive Vice President, Operations

Prior to joining Fountain Quail, Aaron Horn held leadership positions at Gradiant, Hydrozonix and Ecosphere Energy Services. Before that, Mr. Horn worked as an operations engineer for Newfield Exploration following six years of service in the U.S. Army. Mr. Horn has authored several professional papers on front-line leadership in the oilfield, water management, and water treatment. Mr. Horn is a trainer and consultant, having authored and directed a PetroSkills course on water management in the oilfield. 

Mr. Horn earned a Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, and a Master’s degree in conflict management from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He is a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. 

Steve Monroe

Senior Vice President, Engineering & Technology

Steve Monroe joined Fountain Quail in 2016, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the oilfield service industry, including 26 with Baker Hughes. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility in technology, product development, marketing and product line management. For the past five years, Mr. Monroe served as the product line manager responsible for developing a new product line for Baker Hughes, which delivered chlorine dioxide (ClO2), thermal evaporation and clarification (using state of the art electrocoagulation) solutions for treating, recycling and reducing water in upstream operations. 

Mr. Monroe is active in the SPE Gulf Coast Water and Waste Management study group and is a key advocate for oilfield water management through the many workshops and presentations he leads, not only on water management technologies and applications, but also on water management economics.

Mr. Monroe received his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, his Master of Science in management from TCU and is a U.S. Navy veteran. 

Chris Iglesias

Executive Vice President, Business Development

Chris Iglesias is a highly experienced operational and sales professional with more than 11 years in the oil and gas industry. He has demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams to new levels of success in a variety of highly competitive industries and fast-paced environments throughout North America. As Director of U.S. Business Development, he successfully assisted Top-Co Corporation, a global energy manufacturing and distributing company, transition and merge with Rubicon Oilfield International. Prior to assisting Top-Co, he served as Director of U.S. Strategic Accounts at Tervita Corporation, a leading Canadian environmental and energy services company. In this capacity he managed U.S. marketing, sales and operations.

Mr. Iglesias has also served as an oil and gas board member and adviser for privately owned and operated corporations in North America.

Mr. Iglesias attended Penn State University.
